Common decorative finishes for faced insulation wall panels and their characteristics:

Fluorocarbon Paint Finish — Best weather resistance, color retention rate ≥ 90% (3000h aging test), suitable for high-end commercial buildings and coastal high salt spray areas.

Stone-like Paint Finish — Visual effect close to natural stone, self-weight only 1/6 of stone curtain wall, suitable for projects pursuing stone effect with limited budget.

Comparison with Dry-Hanging Stone

In dry-hanging stone systems, the insulation layer and stone are constructed separately. After the insulation layer is completed, stone keels must be installed and stone panels hung.

The entire system self-weight is approximately 50 – 70kg/m², with high requirements for building structure. Faced insulation wall panels have a density of approximately 12 – 18kg/m², only 1/4 of the stone system.

In terms of decorative effect, the texture and feel of natural stone are irreplaceable, but faced insulation wall panels can achieve similar visual effects through stone-like series, while reducing project cost by approximately 60% – 70%.

Q1: Can the finish color be customized?

A1: Yes. Regular colors on the RAL and NCS color charts can be produced. For large color blocks (large solid-color areas), it is recommended to provide samples for color confirmation. Color difference tolerance within ΔE ≤ 1.5 is considered normal deviation.

Q2: What substrate preparation is required before installing faced insulation wall panels on old walls?

A2: The substrate needs to be basically flat, free from hollowing and severe oil stains. Local depressions can be filled with cement mortar, and protruding parts need to be chiseled away. New and old walls are treated the same way with no special requirements.

Q3: How should the wall surface be cleaned after installation?

A3: Normal rain wash can remove most accumulated dust. For stubborn stains, wipe with neutral cleaner mixed with water. Avoid using strong acid or alkaline cleaners to prevent coating damage.
