Jason Building Materials is a professional manufacturer and supplier of Thermal Insulation Carved Boards. This product is a new generation of three-layer, high-pressure composite, prefabricated exterior wall panel developed and manufactured by us; it integrates thermal insulation, decoration, protection, and energy-saving functions into a single unit. Factory-prefabricated, it allows for a short construction period.
Jason Building Materials is a Chinese manufacturer of carved thermal insulation panels. Our products are lightweight, energy-efficient, waterproof, and highly weather-resistant, making them an ideal choice for exterior wall projects on low-rise buildings. They can be installed on-site via dry-hanging or direct assembly, offering decorative finishes that suit a wide range of architectural styles.
What is a Thermal Insulation Carved Board?
The Thermal Insulation Carved Board is an innovative, green, and energy-efficient building material that integrates high-efficiency thermal insulation, exterior wall decoration, and fire/water resistance. It consists of three core structural layers:
1. Decorative Surface Layer
Made from high-quality Al-Zn coated steel or aluminum sheets treated with a special coating, this layer utilizes an intelligent embossing process to create various artistic patterns—such as brick, stone, and wood grain textures. It is finished with a highly weather-resistant fluorocarbon coating, ensuring color stability for 20 years.
2. Intermediate Insulation Layer
This is the core layer, composed of flame-retardant, high-density rigid polyurethane (PU) or rock wool, providing thermal and acoustic insulation performance.
3. Bottom Reinforcement Layer
A bottom aluminum foil protective layer stabilizes the structure and offers water and moisture resistance, effectively reflecting heat and preventing moisture penetration.
Core Advantages
1. Decorative layer and insulation layer integrated: The steel plate surface is treated with color coating or fluorocarbon coating, pressed into stone/brick/wood grain three-dimensional patterns, combining decoration and physical protection without the need for additional paint or tiles.
2. Polyurethane insulation core thermal conductivity is about 0.022W/m·K, with a closed-cell rate of over 95%, ensuring insulation performance does not degrade in humid environments.
3. The boards are installed through tongue-and-groove jointing. After the grooves and tongues interlock, the seams are waterproof without the need for sealant.
4. Self-weight is about 5-8kg/m², about 1/4 of a tile-cladding system, exerting extremely low load on the base wall.
5. Flame retardant performance: Polyurethane core can reach B1 grade flame retardant standard; rock wool core can reach A grade non-combustible.

Case Study
In 2023, a rural self-built house project in Hebei Province. The homeowner wanted the exterior wall to have both insulation function and a stone-like decorative effect, with a budget controlled within 300 RMB/m².
The construction team ruled out dry-hanging stone (over budget) and real stone paint (needs repainting after 5 years), and finally selected 50mm polyurethane core insulation carved board.
Installation took 8 days to complete 280m² of exterior wall, with a total cost of 260 RMB/m².
After completion, two consecutive winters of measurement showed: before insulation, the indoor temperature was about 14°C; after installation, it rose to 20-22°C, saving about 40% on heating costs.
FAQ
Q: Can thermal insulation carved boards be used for high-rise buildings?
A: Yes. The board is lightweight and, combined with a keel dry-hanging system, can be used for high-rise building exterior walls. However, keel specifications and anchor spacing must be determined based on wind load calculations.
Q: Will the board surface pattern fade?
A: Fluorocarbon coating can maintain color for 20 years without fading (accelerated aging test 3000 h color retention rate ≥90%); polyester coating lasts about 8-10 years.
Q: Can the board be cut?
A: On-site cutting can be done using an angle grinder or electric shears. The cut edges must be coated with anti-rust paint to prevent edge corrosion.
